AQUAFARM, NOVELFARM AND ALGAEFARM, THE SUSTAINABLE FUTURE OF FOOD

From 25 to 27 May 2022 AquaFarm, NovelFarm and the new AlgaeFarm sector, the international events dedicated to sustainable food production in water, will take place at the Pordenone Exhibition Centre. Three days in which technology, innovation, processes and products focused on the needs of an ever-changing world will be the protagonists, a world that increasingly demands attention to environmental sustainability and crop or livestock yields.

There will be a rich calendar of events aimed at sector technicians, but also many events aimed at the general public, for which the event "AquaFarm in Piazza" has been designed, right in the heart of Pordenone (Piazza XX Settembre). To this end, an interactive space dedicated to quality Italian aquaculture has been organised that will host show cooking and tastings for everyone in the evening. In the mornings, on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, there will be space for schools thanks to the 'Italian Aquaculture - Next Generation' programme, which includes playful-educational workshops to discover quality Italian fish.

An App (designed and developed by MEDIASTUDIO of Pordenone) has been created for the occasion.
A QUIZ created for the AquaFarm event in which children from the various schools will be able to perform interactive questions and test their knowledge of aquaculture.

120 exhibitors are expected, 35% of them from abroad, almost 7 thousand square metres of exhibition area, more than 30 conferences scheduled, and over a thousand pre-registrants, already in the first days of online registration opening. Operators from Central and Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean area will be visiting, and representatives from the Arab Emirates are expected, looking for turnkey aquaculture facilities.

Three complementary events in one where the main international players are present, an agenda of high-level conferences and side events of a more popular nature such as show cooking!
